Did anybody else feel like this was a commentary on the process of making a Simpsons epsiode and how the writing staff works as a team

If this show was more popular wen it came out, I bet the dad would have become a breakout character like Bart was for The Simpsons in the early years

Bill Hader has to be the new SNL king of impressions. He's kind of like Darrell Hammond

Troy and Abed in HIATUS…*starts sobbing*

Dude this post is so streets behind

To me the musical episode is one of the few good musical episodes of a TV series with the only other one that I can think of being Buffy's musical episode

I think basically after the fifth season all shows seem to stop moving their characters. Take The Office for instance. The sixth season is just crap with no stakes for the characters at all. I think I remember hearing Carl Reiner saying that all shows should last only five seasons which seems about right

For some reason, I care more about Marty then Jay. I just find Jay a big joke and is basically just for laughs while more of the emotions come from Marty although i think this might be the only episode based mostly on Marty

Cheers has to be the one of the few shows that can last 11 seasons while staying as funny through the years. The only other show I can think of M*A*S*H

I got annoyed by how long it took for them together ugh.

My favorite part of this episode has to be "Beauty and King Dork"

Also, he didn't seem so angry with The X-Files crossover episode, plus he just sits in during table reads and is basically a creator and consulting producer

The Seinfeld skit was my fav skit from SNL in a LONG time. Hilarious, just hilarious

hey, just wondering do I have to watch the show from the beginning to understand the plot or not?

Dude, "Harvest Festival" is like one of the best P&R eps

Treehouse of Horror barely featured anything Halloween-themed at all. Save for the opening part

What's Cowboy Bebop about? I'm thinking of checking out. Is it good?

The writer is spot on, but I thought the Dwight story was funny and the Jim and Pam was good

Other than The Simpsons, you're right, but Greg left The Simpsons in like Season 6, i believe so it was great for a few more years

The reviewer is like 100% on the money
