Ah, so it seems, though not obvious to the viewer at home. My point still stands though - more outlandish, excruciatingly inconvenient drag!

You guys are cracking me up. I'm going to miss this show so bad :(
I was a little disappointed with Ru's dress; it looked kinda plain from the waist up. Maybe that's just her style - kinda careful.
Big crown is for Ru of course. I laughed when Sharon got the rinky-dink little thing tucked behind the ouija-board, almost making it invisible.
A minute in on the show, and Milan is doing high-kicks. I rolled my eyes.
My gay king went out like nobody's nothing :(
It's probably down to the fact that Sharon is so raw and earnest. These are qualities of a genuine person, but not a corporate shill. Sharon can't even fake a dance-routine. How is she going to sell vodka without rolling her eyes about glamorizing an unhealthy attitude towards alcohol?
This is a perfectly evenhanded-way of looking at things that deflate a lot of the reason why someone would watch the show in the first place.
I'm drunk, I don't have my shit in check, but this shit was wreck.
yay talent!
From the trailer this movie seems to be even more about Aguilera the artist than Glitter was about Carey the artist.
I am the son. I gasp at math.
The son is teeeeeeerrrrible.
structure /viscera
You're a self-professed structure-guy, and while that's a valuable point-of-view, I think you sometimes tend to downplay the viscera of the drama when you focus so much on structure (which by its nature invites some distance from the gritty, nervy details).
Heidi's persona
It's very apparent that the production team (and possibly Heidi herself) made Heidi much more of a known pressence this season, and for whatever reason, they chose to portray her as a pretty humorless person with a streak of genuine meaness.
Asdfasdfasdf - great posts; you touch on a lot of things I've wondered about too, and in some cases, have problems with.
Senator_Corleone - You are probably both aware, and making a direct reference, but for those that do not know, this was actually one of Korines (abandoned) projects, called "Fight Harm".
Jeesh, I don't don't think so (in regards to the photo).
Eff it up.
While you' waste time and energy covering this, there is a show on tv where people compete to see who can be the best drag-queen. And you're not covering it.
Weilide - didn't see the correction; sub out Mandarin for Cantonese.
I found Peter to be pretty unbearable in this episode; I couldn't stop thinking of him as Poochie made flesh.
