For a mythology heavy episode, I didn't find myself all that interested in the reveals as compared to shows like Lost or Fringe. The flashbacks were consistently the things I looked forward to each week. Heck, I'd be okay if they dropped the premise completely and made a show purely about Alcatraz in the 1960's.

Speaking of the theme of love, did anyone notice the vase of white tulips on the table in the first scene between Olivia and Nina? I thought that was a nice touch.

It was a bit unsettling to see the Simpsons sit on the couch as the years pass by and not age at all considering they did the same thing in the Christmas episode.

I laughed when Clarence started repositioning the dead inmate's body after killing him. Seems like a contrived way of connecting all of the murders which already had so much in common.
