I just happened to be discussing The Sopranos with another female co-worker at my office yesterday, and she volunteered that she would have had an affair with Tony Soprano. I get it. It's all about Gandolfini's charisma.

I had the same thought about Jerry and was finding it strange and out of character that he wouldn't have invited everyone in the office to his party. I should know better than to doubt the Parks writers by now. Jerry filter!

I was happy about that too. This show does a phenomenal job of mixing up the characters while staying true to its roots. As much as I love Ben and Leslie, it was a great choice to have them in different storylines tonight so we could get the Ben/Chris and Leslie/Ron interactions.

I completely agree that Mulder's dream didn't seem like much of a temptation for him, with the possible exception of seeing Samantha again. But living down the street from CSM? Marrying Fowley? I see what they were going for, but it was pretty unbelievable.

I'm generally pretty forgiving of the X-Files because I love it so much, but this arc is my least favorite of the series (excluding season 9). The mythology episodes always worked best for the way they constructed individual scenes and memorable images—the black oil, the submarine in the arctic—and never because the…

And he was in Dallas at the time. Kind of fitting.

@avclub-c6447300d99fdbf4f3f7966295b8b5be:disqus, it's probably for the best since it sounds like you're primarily a healthy eater. Living near that place would be a great temptation for me. It may not be your thing, but potatoes (fries, chips, mashed), especially topped with any dairy product, are my kryptonite.

Mmm, there's a place in Portland, ME called Duckfat that has delicious fries fried in duck fat. I've driven up there from Boston several times just to eat their poutine.

Roadrunners I like, but that's season 8. I also think Signs and Wonders is pretty good. I'm not crazy about Hungry, even though it's one of the more creative episodes. I'm looking forward to a re-watch of S7 and hoping I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I didn't realize Make Me a Supermodel had two seasons. I just saw the one, with the young guy winning. I really liked that show and was sorry it didn't come back. It took what I like about Top Model (the photo shoots) and added contestants with actual modeling potential.
