I also love Arcadia, but it's one of those that I love in spite of the plot and not because of. Which unfortunately happened more and more often as the series progressed. But I would agree that Monday-Arcadia is my last favorite two in a row.

And on the ship there's "Listen to me, you little weasel!"

Agreed. I love this episode, even if it is thin on plot. The visuals and the acting are outstanding. Everyone really stepped up their game here, and you could tell how much they enjoyed doing it. The concept could have been a disaster if the execution hadn't been so brilliant. So much fun.

Agreed on Gilligan. Pusher in season 3 and Bad Blood are my favorite episodes of the entire series, both by Gilligan.

I actually prefer the mythology in season 7 to season 6 (mainly because I hated Two Fathers/One Son). But at least, like season 6, there aren't many mythology episodes to get through. The unfortunate thing is, unlike season 6, there aren't many great standalones. But there are definitely some worth seeing. My…

I prefer to pretend season 9 never existed. The season 8 finale would have worked well as a fairly satisfying series finale, but then Carter had to go and blow up the town in season 9. I can't think of one redeeming feature about it. Is that when Aaron Paul met Vince Gilligan? Then maybe that.

I'm a defender of seasons 6 & 8, but don't have much positive to say about 7. I do kind of like the resolution of the Samantha storyline in "Closure," and think it was about as good as they could do at that point. I also like "Requiem." But most of the stand alones in 7 are just average to me (with a few that were…

I'm also probably in the minority on this, but I love season 6 and probably re-watch it more than any season except 3. I love it for the stand alone episodes and not the mythology, which I pretty much gave up on at this point. I hate the reset factor of this episode, having Scully go back to doubting everything after…
