I think cookie and kings are right - the photo is of the couple, mommy's kissing friend and her husband, gone to Paris. I didn't interpret the scratched-out faces the same as cookie - I saw it as the kid saw it, that they're "ghosts" now, a message from the wife to just forget her/them - but cookie's right so often

@betterforsome & HHG:

They all get automatically skipped as "old episode" unless I happen to be home and think to check the timers and "un-skip" one. And then, I have to decide which night I want to skip Jeopardy!, or The Daily Show / Colbert, or the 10 o'clock news.

I thought Little Big Man subverted the "noble savage" and "magic Indian" tropes pretty well, and turns the "mighty whitey" trope completely on its head. Yeah, you've got your medicine man type - which is truth in television - but the "magic" isn't really that magical, and while the man's got some good wisdom, he's

I tried
I've been trying to watch Terriers. Set up my DVR (Dish Network) to record new episodes. But the way they put their shows on at :05 past the hour means it conflicts with anything happens to be on the next hour, so the DVR skips it. Then when the replay comes on later in the week, it's skipped as an "old

Well, I'm a commie, and I enjoy Tom Petty.

Hell, they even called the Enterprise out to forcibly put down a miners' strike.

I always enjoyed Animal's performance, then I realized that Mick Fleetwood stole his act.

What I find most interesting is that Quinn suspects Dexter of a murder that Dexter did *not* commit.
By "most" I mean "slightly".

Whenever something good happens, something bad happens.

Everyone thinks Peggy got where she is by sleeping with Don.

Dalton Voss.

A short-joke. That's comedy.

I thought The Sopranos was pretty great (for a few seasons anyway).
If I'd seen it after Deadwood and The.Fucking.Wire, I'd have thought it was pretty steamy too, and not in the good way.
And I have to admit, this one's trying my patience. I'm holding out hope that Jimmy going to Chicago will get stuff moving.
I do like

Will and Spangler aren't old friends who came up together, so, no. Nice try though.

Interesting thought, Schiels. That makes a whole lot more sense than using a train crash to kill one guy.

Will did give Grant props for noticing that Kateb appeared out of nowhere, so probably was not-Kateb before.

I enjoyed that reference.

I agree, Andy never seemed clued enough to be in on it, and neither Team Truxton nor Kale seem to know she exists.

I've only done acid (and likewise with shrooms) three or four times, very low doses, it's been a long time since, but I recall it lasting like 5 hours or more. Plenty of time to see a movie, go for a walk, go back home and listen to music.
It *has* been a long time, come to think of it…
