I'd guess they only included a few members of the cast just to keep those scenes lean and small. The dialogue in 30 Rock is measured to the micron. There wouldn't be a way to include everyone and keep the scenes small.

The two lines together are even better:

Ah, Britain. With one hand you give us the Beatles and Monty Python, and with the other you give us British comedies about "colorful-but-difficult old folk" that make me want to kill myself.

MADtv has been consistently funnier than SNL, IMHO. Up until this year when SNL became fun again because of Tina Fey and Weekend Update, whenever I flipped back and forth between the two, I'd usually end up watching MADtv.

That show was such crap. It always seemed rigged (even if it wasn't, it always had that lame rigged feel).

Well the *writers* had a long weekend. The commenters only had a few minutes, so, while the above posts may look like a loose collection of random words, it's not bad considering the time constraint.

A lot of douchebags like a lot of things that I like. I'm not going to stop liking them. Sublime rocked.

I remember him talking about what a big D&D player he was on Conan, that got him points with me. Don't think I've ever actually seen one of his movies though. 'Cept Private Ryan, of course.
