I thought that line about Rachel being president of 16 clubs was horrifyingly fascinating — imagine shows centered around each of those clubs?

Todd, usually we agree about this show, but I thought you were entirely too kind about "Props." I thought it was one of the worst examples of the "characters are whatever the writers need them to be at that particular moment" problem in quite a long time.
There is a lot of that in this sequel, yes, but it's not used awfully. It was clunky in the first one, but now that we've come to terms with it, I feel like they knew how to use it here.
I'm a huge fan of the original, and I was very, very okay with this sequel. It's not amazing, of course, and yeah there's a lot of religious stuff going on, but overall it still has a whole lot of scares. It also plays with the "watching everything through the camera" aesthetic in ways the first one didn't.
