Inspiring quotes from the president who bombed the shit out of Cuba, nearly caused a nuclear holocaust, invaded Vietnam, and watered down the early civil rights act? Way to pick your heroes.

Congratulations on being an ignoramus.
"Pedophiles are bad." You cast a mighty wide net there. Moralize much? Of course, some pedophiles - the kind who rape small children, for example - are bad. But many other so-called "pedophiles" are termed that as a result of consensual sexual relations with (so-called statutory rape of) people barely younger than…
So I suppose you were okay with CNN supporting the invasion of Iraq? Or is the rape of one American more meaningful to you than the massacre of tens of thousands of Iraqis?
There may be hardworking journalists, but unless they're radicals or revolutionaries, they're towing the ideological line that the ruling class wants them to.
NPR sucks.
I guess you feel really proud of yourself.
Stop speaking for everybody. I for one do not consume cable news. Saying "we as consumers" is really irritating, insofar as it assumes that we are all responsible, when in fact some of us not only do not feed the machine but in fact have struggled against it.
Patriotism is stupid, and patriots are stupid.
No, it isn't. I never forgive nationalism. Nationalism is for assholes, period.
Considering the hundreds of millions of war dead as a result of nationalism in the 20th century, I think it absurd that you would oppose only "extreme jingoism." Nationalism has a way of quickly turning into fascism.
You and others need to stop saying "it's us who demand this" and "we need to decelerate how we consume news ourselves" - speak for yourself, goddamn it! Don't assume that we all share in the common problems of shitty media consumption.
"Our…" Speak for yourself, buddy boy.
We can't "just" blame the media, but we can mostly blame them. After all, they are responsible for perpetuating the ideological superstructure designed to keep us in place. It's a lot easier to perpetuate this ideology from a position of power than it is to fight and overturn that ideology from an underdog position.
Wow, you're testy.
Weird, dark April is much preferable to that stab they made at her being more upbeat.
That's not what hipster means, douchebag.
Yeah, that sounds about right.
Stacked enough for a good old fashioned hate fuck?
Not much going for this episode. Yawn.
