I haven't seen Treasure Planet but everything I've read indicates it's pretty underrated. I can't believe someone would make a crack about barrel scrapings and mention anything other than Jimmy Neutron.

CRY FOR THE MOON!

Merchandise Driven kids' shows do this all the time. Every year is a new story with new characters and thus new toys to sell. It's more common in Japan, but it carries over to their Western counterparts like Power Rangers.

Because an extra ended up partially paralyzed the first time they tried to shoot that scene.

I love the L.A. arc for how weirdly dark it is.

I've never seen Larger Than Life but both it and The Man Who Knew Too Little looked awful.

Yeah for all the comments about Iron Giant not just being a vehicle to sell toys it's funny that there were in fact some pretty great Iron Giant toys.

Yeah that one belongs on this list. It's just Gervais doing his usual schtick but in animated form, yet it's more entertaining than most of these episodes.

I guess I just don't agree that the "how" of the explanation was done poorly. It's like what QamarNahaar said, these issues being dealt with can't be easily defined. The harder you try to explain them the more unsatisfying the explanation will feel.

I pretty much agree with all of that.

Angel's finale was so good that the existence of the "After the Fall" comic series kind of ticks me off.

I'd say Spirited Away has received an extraordinary amount of recognition for a cult film, but it still qualifies as one.

Speaking of lost jobs, Principal Moss lost his recently but in tonight's episode he apparently has it back. I thought that was odd.

This might not mean anything
but I looked up the Caprica spin-off right now and one of the main characters, played by is named Daniel.

No the best line was "I found it on my favorite website, stop showing off Dot Com."

I think you misinterpreted it.

While I do think tonight's ep was pretty great, I must admit I might go a little too easy on BSG. I've heard Black Market being brought up as the series' low point before. Oddly enough that was actually the first full episode I watched and I've been hooked on the show ever since. I've never rewatched Black Market, so

B+?
This was episode was great. I was shouting at it like it was a sporting event. Although I guess shouting at those isn't any less weird. It's certainly not as geeky.

That part made me laugh because the don't-read-the-book-and-write-the-paper-three-hours-before-it's-due type is the type of Lit major I currently am. Glad to keep the traditions alive.

Story is also called "The Mangler". It's in "Night Shift" and is also included in a compilation that just came out called "Steven King Goes To The Movies" with new introductions by King for each story.
