That was my first thought too, three times echoing Peter denying Jesus three times, but turned upside down… Could also be said for emphasis, but I think it's what you said. Also, he says it three different ways, expressing the myriad of emotions going on in him.

Line of the Year: “Because I know you. Because I know you… Because I know you." Kerwin, Rectify.

It's even better when you finish and go back and watch. Lots of nuance in the show. Things that may not make sense or seem odd at first, make more sense when you watch later episodes. It's a beautiful show.

I think it's Daniel's quirkiness. And like you say his way of saying to Teddy: "You could have been raped instead I poured coffee grinds on your ass." (Which strikes me as kind of funny.) Teddy will never look at coffee grinds the same way, or see Daniel the same. It was to show Teddy some of the humiliation Daniel

There was some talk on IMDB about it.

Where is that? Do you have a link? Not sure what you are referring to.

Rectify? How can Rectify not even be on this list, let alone not in the top 40? Didn't anyone at AV Club watch the show?

Rectify… How is Rectify not on this list? Actually it should be in the top ten, near the top just behind Breaking Bad… It's a beautiful show, best savored slowly.

Line of the Year: "Just get me home." Walter White, Breaking Bad

Line of the Year: "Honestly, I don't know what the fuck we're doing here anymore." Mandy Patinkin breaking character and commenting on Homeland.

It's got to be Dexter. The most audaciously horrible finale ever, that capped off the most languid meandering incredibly-uninspired illogical ridiculously unsatisfying final season ever. Showtime and Scott Buck have big cajones for pulling off what they did, leaving most of the audience speechless at the end— except

I like to include Mr Plow too. Not a xmas episode, but has snow so feels seasonal to me.

Why don't they let us vote anymore? An A- on this episode is way off the mark. I would say C. I thought it was a pretty lame season finale. The only truly great part was when Saul said: “I honestly don't know what the fuck we're doing anymore” (referring to the writing of the show).

“I honestly don't know what the fuck we're doing anymore”

what happened to community grade?

where is the community grade?

Dan in Real Life 2!

You didn't use the facetious emoticon.

You find scatological humor funny?
