Well, the problem was at that point, Andy was just coming out of remission, and then took the tragic turn for the worst - Actresses still need to be paid, and CSI:NY is a prominent gig for an actress - I'd like to think it was simply a matter of circumstance.

Bronson was really really attractive in this. Dayumn. Also, I remember watching this when I was much younger and thinking, 'So, was it a war between men and women?"

A discussion, or at least several comments about this has been going on in the latest Spartacus: War of the Damned "Decimation" episode review - there, the battles and the violence have gotten less and less glorious, and the violence, however stylized, seems to be able to remind us how brutal and ugly it can be - how

And that is why this show is awesome. You really do have two factions (even if Spartacus doesn't seem to be in agreement with the majority), and it does mirror the theory of history. We have a large group that just want to cause trouble and be the top dog, and what does Spartacus want to do? I guess we'll have to

I really like your post, and generally agree, and I think the show does a very good point of not painting one way or the however - however, it is the ideas and ideals of the injustice of slavery, of the philosophy of the worth of man, that elevates us from animals, from the killed or be killed mentality, of the

Shit like that is why I love this show, if it is indeed raising that idea.

Oh my!

You know, I think this episode felt to me like it was just us settling into the story, hence the different sort of pacing. It worked for me.

I was also a little perturbed abbout this very same fact in Season 1, with the statue of Batiatus after he pimped out his house. That statue should have been painted!

@avclub-9cd818ea56273170b63f339aa6f34bca:disqus , you know, You're right. All of the T-Dogs on this show are treated with respect to their T-Dogness. Walking Dead? It's a revolving door of "Alive black man, dead black man, new black man!" Long live the Dogs of T.

I wouldn't be so sure. We've got at least two more of the featured three new female cast members coming.

As much as I love the male prettiness going in, I can't wait for us to get involved with the women's various backstories and arcs and plots. I sense some major shenanigans coming from a Tertulla (Crassus' wife, who I assume she is in the series) versus Kore stage. So excited!

Bite tongue! Caesar is my homeboy.

Correction: Blade stakes Edward, adjusts his sunglasses, and then, "The End."

Are these gypsies just transplanted Irish Travelers or Roma? It sounds, since they continue with the tradition of the BBC original that it's the Irish Travelers. Would anyone know if the various celebration traditions change/what are the differences between these two groups? Or the various designations?
