Ah, that pinged my brain and then I totally forgot about it! Nice call.
You really should watch Veronica Mars! (I need to watch Person of Interest.)
The iZombie writers RT my tweet about them making Ravi the best canon based on AV Club commenters, so I think this one was all you.
JESUS NOOOOOO
I like Shirin! I think I'm thinking of her second time playing then? My memory is crap.
Yeah, I definitely had a "Hello, Veronica" moment there too.
I totally missed that line, thanks. Considering Tyler doesn't exist on this show when he's not onscreen normally, nice to know we got *something* explaining that he's alive.
Yeah, it does. I enjoy Rob Thomas' weird tendency to use an actor in more than one part, but I find the Scott E/Don E thing endlessly confusing. And alas, it confused me yet again here.
That he was SO EXCITED to figure out the hemlock. He is the best.
In Julie Plec's EW diary she brought up that this is the first off-format episode TVD has done, which is kind of crazy considering they are in season seven. http://www.ew.com/article/2…
The last ep had a Christmas theme, too. Apparently Rob Thomas is cursed to do shows that have two Christmas-set eps with one always airing after the actual holiday (see: S1 Veronica Mars).
I loved him leaning back and settling in for a dose of Liv Brain.
I forgot to mention how condescending Savage was. Ugh, Savage.
I don't think Alison is a saint? I've never said such a thing. But of course Noah has to reconcile himself with the person Alison actually is, which he has completely refused to do up until this point. Which is what I am explicitly stating in that question.
I really don't want her to become a vampire. Ugh. I guess I'll be happy she's still around but after Elena I don't trust this team to write a good transition arc.
The show is always better when Claire Holt is around.
The Originals thoughts: Cami was my favorite character and I am so angry. (I know I'm alone in this here, but hear me out.) I'm angry because the way they killed her was so obnoxious, and it only happened to give Klaus motivation. It is classic "fridging" and honestly TO is usually better than that.
I don't necessarily think it's a plot hole. But it's a total dark area. We have no real knowledge of what Blaine is doing, aside from trying to find tainted Utopium. I don't need a spreadsheet-level breakdown of his activities, but if they are going to casually mention things that might connect to him, eventually I…
I did not see that season, alas.
