To defend Stefan a little bit, Rebekah did kill his girlfriend. Morality is a sliding scale on this show week-to-week most of the time. I was more bothered by what he did to April. He couldn't have just asked to talk to Rebekah alone instead of mind wiping her?

If they do find a cure, it might be interesting if Elena voluntarily refuses it. That would throw Stefan for a loop.

My college had so many interesting classes I never had the time to take. There was one all about REM lyrics! Still regret not taking that one.

Eh, Memorial is probably my favorite episode the show has ever done and that was two weeks ago. I wouldn't count the show out yet.

It's far and also not a great neighborhood. But I'm mostly just giving the show a hard time because it's fun that they're using actual Nashville landmarks for everything. It doesn't actually bother me.

I actually really liked the Rayna love triangle in this episode, if only because Teddy finally felt like a person to me here instead of just something standing between Deacon and Rayna. I liked him putting his foot down with Rayna in the bedroom, as it suggested a long history of this dynamic without hitting it over

That he was.

I still feel like Jeff should have voted Penner off last week when he was completely unsuspecting. He'd be in a much better position now, I think.
