Slightly better, even if the first 10-15 minutes of this episode had me hopelessly confused. They had no idea about visitor's day, but then it was a thing had an official time? How was any of this communicated? And how are all of those people so goddamn brilliant at reading lips? I can't read lips to save my life, so

I forgot about CMO!

Isn't Continuum kind of a turd?

Definitely drugs, thought for a hot second I thought it was going to be more masturbation analogues.

I don't even mind if there's not a whole MO-centered episode with all the new MOs, I just want them to randomly appear throughout episodes now. Like Jake's kids.

Yeah, a weak episode, but as a huge fanboy of both Fletcher and McClanahan, that verbal battle was a gift from heaven.

I thought for a second we were about to get really mythology heavy when Wilfred starting talking about his life. Alas, it was not so. I enjoyed the episode, though. That last shot of Ryan leaning back and the smoke wafting up was really nice.

Taystee is an early contender for Best Inmate. She's easily the most fun, though I'm sure there will be some properly tragic backstory coming soon.

You're not the only one, Les, I chuckled at "fecal urgency" as well.

So glad I'm hearing all these good reviews, and can't wait to dive into the series myself. Considering what a drag Under the Dome has become, I'm excited about some summer series that don't flame out immediately after the pilot.

I was almost rooting for a quick shot in the background of a scene of Monk and David giving each other the eyes. I knew it wouldn't happen, but the mere thought had me giggling.

You know, I'll be okay if there isn't a second season. I loved this episode, and the way it ended, and if we get more, great, if not, fine. Either way, it's a lovely addition to the Guest repertoire and I think it could live on in cult status in a few years.

1. This is one of my favorites out of the series, and I think it's the first time the series truly reaches greatness.
2. Bless you, Todd, for posting that poem. Ye gods!

I hope that us fans of the show can carry a torch for it moving forward. We've reached the point where we can really begin to dissect this era, and it's certainly a shame that neither Sepinwall nor Martin's books discuss SFU. (Which is not to say that I think they should, just that I would never argue AGAINST more
