I'm crossing the Atlantic on the 9th so I won't be at either showing but I have seen the Criterion DVD and I can vouch that House is indeed delightful. The closest movie I can think of to it in tone would be The Happiness of the Katakuris but even that doesn't really cover the sheer wackiness of House.
