I wasn't too keen on the second series of Black Mirror - thought there was only one decent episode (ep 2) and that overstated its themes.

Idris Elba is only as good as the role written for him. He was (of course) great as Stringer Bell, but his Luther was very ordinary. Not even Elba could salvage Luther's final series - his bulking frame did most of the heavy lifting for him.
