The most amazing thing about Enlightened is that it makes it's main character wrong on so many different levels and fundamentally right anyway.

I thought the domestic drama/angle was overstated. The show only really worked (for me) as a thriller…the opening and closing scenes were great, but much of the stuff in between was labored.
I went into the show 'blind' and didn't realise that 'the American's' were deep undercover until the flashback. In other words, I was blindsided…even though the title sequence intimates as much.
It felt like the finale was an attempt to thematically tie up many disparate elements into a meaningful whole.
A fantastic review that does something almost unprecedented - it makes it impossible to watch the film without thinking of the review/er.

Well, that's what I thought, and was confounded by the fact the show failed to acknowledge this development, or develop it of their own accord…and am equally astonished by the fact that most reviewers have been similarly glossing over it.

You're not rambling Zac, and you have remarkable insight into your condition…which must make it worse.

Did Carrie know that she (inadvertently) played a role in the VP's death while kidnapped? Doesn't that make her Brody's co conspirator? How could the show completely ignore this implication?

I have two main questions, and would appreciate a response or two please.
