Chase might get a lot of flak from Community fans, but he has been an acute critic of the show - and the fact that he's finally left suggests the post Harmon version might be a s(t)inking ship.

The problem with season 2 (up till this episode anyway) is that the setting worked against the treatment: by setting it in an asylum it normalized 'crazy' and found itself relying on shock value just to wriggle out of its own  straightjacket.

The reason the second season of Homeland has reverted to 24 mode appears to be very simple: the second season of Prisoners of War is yet to complete its run in Israel, and the showrunners have been forced to revert to type (although the first season of Homeland arguably improves on Prisoners of War in some ways, it

Of course I've seen it - this lacks the novelty of the new and is obviously trying to outdo itself to little avail.
