We saw more of those fractured and scarred children in the mental hospital when Cohle went to visit the girl he saved. All the kids were looking at him when he left

I also noticed the same layout a couple episodes back when Cohle went back to the schoolhouse and it ended with him holding the stick figure up in the darkened classroom. He picked up the middle figure from a circle of others that were on the floor. It was very dark but I saw it the second time I watched the episode.

I bet she might if she knew that they were trying to pin the serial murders on him, which I forgot that she doesn't know that. So, true, that -would- be fuckin' weird!

Why would he tell a stranger in an already stressful (supposedly to him) situation that he accidentally killed his daughter? He didn't know Maggie- it was the first time he met Hart's family. He did talk about the winding driveway then trailed off. Don't see how Rust's daughter being run over could fit in with the

I think that would in some part explain his nihilistic outlook. I think he accidentally ran her over on his winding driveway. He trailed off mistily when talking about it- why else would they not tell us who it was? The murderer(s) drug and rape and turn their killings into ritual- getting hit with a car doesn't seem

It shows us that Maggie is also a liar. She can lie about stuff just like Marty and Rust. But it is weird that that is what she lies about.

I think it actually would be best for her considering what the cops and inmates would do to a baby killer. It really is honest and he was kind of being compassionate in a dispassionate way.

My theory is that he's not looking for forgiveness because he can't be forgiven. He's looking for redemption because he accidentally killed his own daughter- he drove down that windy driveway of his and ran her over.

I think he is searching for redemption, though.

I think the only way Rust could be the murderer is if he has a split personality that hasn't fully been shown yet. I don't think that is the case, though.

Hey Boy, look mighty cute in them jeans….

Jihad Jerry and the Evildoers was quite a fun album, surprised no one has mentioned it yet.

What an interesting woman! Not only sang the best part of that Stones song, but wow, sang on Southern Man AND Sweet Home Alabama- historic rival songs. Just wow. Gotta see that doc. just to see more of this fascinating character.
