The TCM remake contains the most egregious overuse of sepia and impossible light sources I've ever seen.

If you do interview the Captain (Daryl Dragon) from The Captain & Tennille, be sure and ask him about working with the Beach Boys in the 70s. I think he played on most of the songs on Dennis Wilson's solo album, too.
I read it. It is great. All hail STYX in all its incarnations.
People can hate on Texas Chainsaw Massacre all they want, but it is effortlessly scuzzy and grim with an eventless 70's pace suggesting that it could happen this way.
They aren't busy, but the Captain is sick.
Maniac was better. City of the Dead is better. Almost any movie is better.
Vigorously simulated. I know. But the making out was real mashing!
I saw the original when I was 14 in a video store on a very slow summer weekday. The clerk would play it on the store's VCR, then stop it whenever somebody else walked in. He did it this way because he wouldn't rent the movie to me, but still wanted me to see it.
I'm gonna eat your lunch.

Dee Dee "King", Funky Man:
I remember people pretending that this shit was good, or at least watchable. Then just the other day I watched Hot In Cleveland with some relatives recently and experienced deja vu.
That's an especially harsh screed coming from a cute little housecat.
WHY ARE NOT YOU OUTRAGED!?
Speechless with rage?
Mommy's Little Monster is a great album. The rest I like mostly because Social Distortion was the first punk band I ever saw live at Club Dog Alley in Charleston. …and only the third or fourth band period after R.E.M., Violent Femmes and maybe whoever played my prom. They really tore up live, without the cowpunk .
Why don't you let off some steeeam?
I wonder if they'll ever have another go at Pogo. Could you animate in the style of those incredible inks?
@Marah Eakin: Janelle is in Oak Island, NC, right over the border from Myrtle Beach. Good guess. I had to look it up, so thanks for the inspiration.
The casting (ie whoever was around and would agree to be painted yellow) seems to have determined the uh character choices…and plotz.
