Any word on if this series will deviate greatly from the books or be a close, faithful adaptation? (I LOVED THOSE BOOKS!)

The way it seems on this show, everyone is trapped in an unwinnable situation.
But didn't Aubry's conversation with her brother last week imply that something wasn't quite right between the two of them from their past?
"We want to believe that every person that inhabits the United States operates on a level playing field, but that couldn’t be further from the truth."
Huh? Which part? Seemed pretty spot on to me.
Oh ok, now I understand that. Thanks.
Is Joan = Christina Hendricks?
Does anyone know if Hamill's Trickster/Joker going to be on the spin-off show? I'd like to see the banter between him and Capt. Cold.
I think she was bluffing, but… no WAY that kid tests her on it.
WOW… that's crazy as it is disappointing. Disappointing, in the sense that educated people can still plunge to staggering depths of ignorance.
Does it have to be a game or movie?
Nice. Definitely a good choice. Some real gems in terms of dark, fairly mature-themed episodes in that series.
Hmm… somehow Heisenberg transformed into Clay Davis as he fell into the pit?
You're asking for the lever?
Clay Davis was wasted in this episode. I know its network TV, but not even a "Shhhhhoooottt."? :(
We always have B:TAS episodes to fall back on. :)
Interesting thing about that line from this episode… Eiling was squeezing the head of Stargirl and a cracking sound could be heard while he said that.
Just out of curiosity… did anyone else - when they first watched this episode - think Eiling was going to kill Shining Knight?
Coming soon to a small screen near you:
I was already going to check this out, but the possibility of it approaching the gritty reality of The Wire (or any of those aforementioned movies) has me REALLY INTRIGUED.
