the venn diagram of people who love Star Wars and people who hate change is basically a circle inside another circle

What's "silly" about a Wookiee Jedi, I wonder?

hopefully he got himself into a refrigerator in time to survive the impact

I'm really enjoying this pattern lately where AVClub posters give their significant others conceptually symmetric username-names

Wow. I never really thought of us as best friends, but that means a lot @Eat_Up_Martha:disqus, thanks

that's what they said about Passenger Pigeons

"'I guess you could say, it's my racket'"
"I guess you could say…I'm Iraqi!"

if you don't enjoy season 2 of the Simpsons, I don't want to know you

I think you wandered into Hell, like a Twilight Zone episode

I didn't confuse the two terms. I had never heard "person of color" used to refer to any group other than black people. Considering that not all Asians have "colored"/non-white skin, I'm surprised the term can be used that way.

In your post you said "this story shows no effort to include the opinion/voice of people of color or the Asian woman," and I interpreted "people of color" to mean "black people" because I've never heard the term "people of color" used to refer to any group other than black people and I assumed that was what the term

Um. What? Did you not understand the question? Or just not feel it worth answering for some other reason?

I think you're being a bit dramatic. It's just a routine physical!

is this a riddle?

I'd like to see this if someone thinks they can find it

I'll say this: people ought to acknowledge that being intentionally racist (or sexist or whatever) is very different between being unintentionally racially insensitive (or equivalent).

I was having a conversation with my sixty-something dad (who grew up in a town with a one-room schoolhouse a la Little House) recently and I was a little surprised to find not only that he used the term, but also that it was the only name he had ever heard for that particular type of nut.

If you don't mind, I'd actually like to know why you brought up the age of the team name if it wasn't an appeal to tradition like Bizarro alleged.

I hug re-with is post
