Yes. That's why I enjoy the Anthology edition (I think it's three) with all the White Album songs on it. Kinda cuts the fat, and most of the demos slay.

The Beatles were barely a rock band. The Who, Hendrix or even The Kinks would have blown them off the stage in this era. The self-imposed concert ban probably saved their live reputation. They had their moments, but rocking wasn't really their strength.
