That joke was about as surprising as a sunset.

It just feels strange watching Jimmy Fallon doing his usual shtick these days. It's like spending the week after 9/11 watching reruns of Love, American Style. He seems to exist in an orb completely untainted by world events. His universally-safe, focus-group friendly, viral-video song and dance concepts just seem so…
From an interview with Putin spokesman Dmitry Pescov today:
Pretty good episode, but that fart sketch was no "Second Wind" featuring Fartin' Gary. Usually the ten till one stuff is pretty edgy and funny. This was neither. FRAAAAAAP.
Morgan seems to be the very definition of the "independent" who endlessly sides with everything Trump does, while criticizing those on the left for not giving him a chance. It's a subculture that has been created to guilt liberals into falling in line. The "I'm not on the same side as this guy either, but let's give…
I agree with this assessment. They are by default kinda screwed endlessly by their motto "best new music." The main idea of their existence is to break the cool new band, while traditional music rags seemed more intent on actually following the careers of influential bands. Pitchfork is first and foremost about…
You guys should do a similar article on traditional rock bands that successfully incorporated drum machines into their sound. My number one pick would be the Fear and Whiskey album by The Mekons.
East River Drive is similar to a tube screamer but much cheaper. I have a Soul Food as well, but don't use it much because it is like mid and treble overkill with the telecaster. I could use it to define the OCD a bit more, but the ERD does that just fine as well. My fave weird pedal is my Fuzz Factory on the Atari…
I know it's not official Sex Pistols, but I think "The Great Rock and Roll Swindle" is one of the most underrated songs ever. It's so loony and it totally rocks. That guitar tone just slays as well, and what a chorus!
Spunk is awesome. I love how "Seventeen" has this total swagger that is missing on the Bollocks version. Plus, "Satellite" is just a fucking epic song. The version of "God Save the Queen" is fun as well. Way more Chuck Berry than the final version.
Ha! My main geetar is a telecaster (not a thinline though) that I play through a Blues Jr. Also use a Classic Vibe 50s strat and a Pawn Shop 51 as well. Funny enough, I also have a Valve Jr head that I used to play through a Hot Rod Deluxe cab that sounded AWESOME when playing dirty. Never really got super clean like…
Damn straight. I love all the Jones/Cook songs on the Great Rock and Roll Swindle soundtrack as well. The title track, "Silly Thing," "No One is Innocent" and "Lonely Boy" are all great. His tone is still probably the best straight up rock guitar tone ever. It's interesting that it's basically humbuckers and a Fender…
Awwww…I used to have that same green phone that's on the shelf behind him.
Her recurring characters were the worst. I'm glad SNL seems to have moved beyond that premise for the most part. The show is much more scattershot now. It's riskier, and doesn't always work, but worn out characters were the worst. Wiig's final couple of years really proves this. They leaned on here for everything.
KEEP THOSE HANDS OF FATE AT TEN AND TWO O'CLOCK MISTER.
100% agree.
I saw someone spell it "libatard" at some point this week. That was pretty telling spelling.

"Notes" = "Newww-oats"
If you drink the Black and Tan it's okay because of the ebony/ivory metaphorical offset.
