I picked that up at a relative's house while visiting for some holiday, and read it in one sitting. Terrifying and fascinating.

I just started this as well (about 200 pages in). I'm finding it a lot more enjoyable than I was anticipating.
I'll probably be going to see it again, too. I was just giddy with glee through so much of it (except when I was bawling my eyes out - that was not gleeful .. but still a good cry!), I think I overlooked a lot of the flaws at first glance.

I liked some of the small changes they made, like Javert and Gavroche, and moving Do You Hear the People Sing, but the best one was replacing Eponine with the priest at the end. It definitely makes more sense. I also liked the brief scene explaining how Valjean and Cosette escaped Paris, which if I recall correctly…

Agreed re Tveit and Barks. When the student scenes began, it was like "Oh! Here are the Broadway actors." Ha. It took me a while to get used to the non-Broadway singing styles. Mostly, I thought it worked fine.

I was enthralled with that last song, and then immediately pissed off when it wasn't available on iTunes. I wonder if there'll be an album coming, a la Smash? I'm assuming I'll be pissed all over again when some songs aren't released on the album itself.

Wasn't the actress married to Pileggi also Anderson's stand-in? Or she was for a while? I think?

I really like much of that Arcadia album. The Promise is so great.

Yes Yes Yes. At least they fixed half of that error with their later hits collection, which at least has New Moon On Monday.
Oh man, I LOVE that song!

I just rewatched the series (skimmed and skipped a bit), and I was surprised to see that s6 was better than I'd thought it been in my memories. Yeah, this was when the mytharc went off the rails, but I'd forgotten how much there was to like throughout the season.

That is the only thing I like about her. I love a lot of pop music but hate so much about Katy Perry. But she gets a giant tip of the hat and a hearty laugh for Kitty Purry.
