They played How Do I Know before Coldplay took the stage when I saw them a few weeks ago.

To be fair, he said he'd be wearing earplugs, so I bet all he actually heard at Shea were the slightly muffled screams of teenaged girls.

I could have sworn that the pizza delivery guy was the same actor, and they were hinting that he was still alive.  Didn't notice the lawyer.

Viva La Vida is my favorite as well.  And re the comment below this one (I don't know how to reply to someone if the "reply" box isn't there), I agree re Martin's voice.  It's the weakest thing about Coldplay, I think.

I think all TV episodes (yes, of every show) should end with at least one character dancing to a Robyn song.

yeah, I was waiting for something awful to happen in those last moments.  There was a shot of Alicia's car in the driveway as she waited by the door made me think it was going to explode.  ha.

I can't believe I didn't recognize Julia Ormond.

I was at that Milwaukee show, too! My first REM concert.  Man, I was happy.  Monster hasn't aged well for me, although I don't think there's anything particularly *wrong* with it.  The song I probably listen to the most from it is Let Me In, which gives me chills.  I've also always liked Circus Envy because the lyrics

I'd love to hear that.  Pipe back up in here if you figure out where it's from.

You are spot-on with "Coo-uhl."  Ugh, that drives me batty and I can't even listen to live versions of the song anymore.

When the strings come in …. oh, man.  That's the stuff, right there.

Oh, man.  Oh, yes.

Wake-Up Bomb kicks twenty kinds of ass.  And I'm listening to it right now!

As you can see by my user name, I heartily agree.  It's breathtaking.

I think Up is pretty great but, like others, think it goes on a bit too long.  When I think of Reveal, I think "boring and unmemorable" (except for Imitation of Life and The Lifting, which is rather amazing).  Then I randomly decided to listen to it last night and realized …. okay, it's still kind of dull and one of

I thought I saw a cape in one scene for a quick second, but wasn't sure if I'd actually seen it or not.  Ha!

I had no idea Jani Lane had died!

Thank you! I thought Rami going home was just bullshit.  It felt to me like Rami and Austin being the bottom two was set up just to cause some shock, as it seemed like Michael and Mondo were the obvious bottom two. (Although on the plus side, I was really worried Mondo would be going home, so …. yay?)

I was so proud I recognized him from an X-Files episode (season 1's "Ice"!) but so ashamed that I didn't recognize him from Buffy.

Buffybot is amazing.  "Angel is lame. His hair goes straight up, and he's bloody stupid."
