Here's another thought…. is Arya going to find her direwolf?  Remember she let him go in the woods on the way south, and presumably they're taking the same road back north.  That would be kickass if the Goldcloaks come again for Gendry and her wolf just comes out of nowhere and decimates them.

I guess that's the thing.  If you're following someone who you trust, and you agree with his moral code, then you will do things for him without question.  Although, the kind of person who would kill a baby without even needing to know the reason is probably not the kind of person I would want to surround myself with.

I think if he were killed, though, the women would no longer be safe from whatever's roaming around out there (white walkers, for sure, and perhaps other things).  So they can't kill him if they want to survive.  They're apparently fucked once he dies though.

I thought of that too, but maybe he just doesn't give one single shit about what happens to them after he dies.  Either that, or maybe he figures that so many of them are pregnant at any given point, that it's likely that when he dies a few of them will have sons already percolating and he won't be around to hand them…
