Marie Calvet the Catholic and Professor Calvet, her communist, atheist husband who doesn't celebrate Easter have a mixed marriage, of sorts, too. Marie's behavior doesn't make her seem particularly devout, but she did travel to NYC to visit Megan at Eastertime.

Is Sylvia truly devout, or is she someone who likes to be bad and then go home (or to the Sherry Netherland) and be punished and THEN go home and be good? I think it's the latter, which makes her rather like Don.
