I think Glenn believes Maggie's lying. Plus, he realizes - whether she was actually raped or not - he was powerless to prevent the Governor from assaulting her, or worse.  It's no coincidence that the Governor allowed Glenn to hear what was happening with Maggie or see her w/o her blouse.

True.  Also, I think Merle was vying to separate Daryl from the group, and knew the best approach would be to piss off Rick's group so much that Daryl would be forced to choose sides.  Merle knows his little brother (to an extent) and played him like a crossbow.

When did Rick stop broadcasting to Morgan Jones on the walkie-talkie (or was it a police radio)? I always thought his talking on the w-t/radio was as much to make himself feel connected to someone else as to stay in touch w/ the Joneses.

Yep about Merle and about Daryl's popularity.  And didn't Daryl tell Carl he could play with other kids "when Merle wasn't around"? That line chilled me; don't think it'll be long before Merle forces Daryl to choose sides, and puts someone's life on the line to exert extra pressure.

Axel - yeah, I was wondering the same thing.  I'm waiting for his earlier offer to work on Daryl's motorcycle to pay off by having him either fix or sabotage somebody's vehicle.
