For reasons which escape me, I was one on a message board about odd baby names. One woman said that she has a name that is a tribute to a famous rap song, and really disliked her name. Someone replied that if her name is Bonita Applebum, she should be honored. This is a great, fun song.

Blech, who wrote this headline, someone at Wonkette?

I'm the same, my problem is that I don't live near my football team of choice, so in the absence of cable, I end up spending a lot of the Fall in a sports bar.

Mystifying, obviously.

Horses are an important part of modern society?

Tyler Perry does a fine job highlighting his preference for muscular black men without so blatantly calling attention to it.

Whippin' it.

I was part of a focus group asked to comment on an early trailer for this movie. I'm glad they re-did it, the one I saw made no sense.

He wrote a pretty well thought out essay a few years ago when he claimed to have almost left over merchandising. He acknowledged that he had a great job that paid him plenty, he just thought it was shitty that the cast saw so little of the merchandising despite their years of work shaping the characters. Couple *of* more people.

Sure, that makes sense, I guess its just kind of weird that the show can advertise itself as the crucible of fame, but end up not being very good at that. Then again, I enjoy the show Face/Off and who I do or don't root for doesn't impact my life after the season ends.

Absolutely may have been the wrong word, fair enough. I just meant that it doesn't seem to have a very good track record producing pop culture longevity.

Agreed. I really thought this show would fade away once people realized it absolutely does not produce popular musicians. I have it on good authority that these sorts of shows are more about the spectacle.

I still call them stewardesses.

I challenge you to find something better to do with your time than nerd out about Firefly.

"Ongoing train wreck aside, I love this."

I'm more of a "lean on the bar, looking surly" guy.

To be fair, 2008 was when Jean Teasedale seemed to suddenly lose her touch.

Oh my god, I cannot understand the whole boots and skirt thing. Its only one season at a time, damn it!

Buster was already half robot, so the Barry team-up writes itself? (Is Barry dead? Im a season or so behind).
