Is it me or is the online mode absolutely insufferable? All that ever happens to me is some random jackass with run me down or shoot me while Im trying to do the very earliest missions. Having some rando bail out of my speeding car because I missed the offramp didn't make me feel great either.

Second on it being the most fun of the PS2 games. I liked "Deadlocked" as well, because that was one of the few series where I got good enough to appreciate the challenge. That, and one of the announcers in the "sport" that is the premise gets progressively drunker as the game goes on.

Spec Ops was great. I bought it used and am seriously considering buying a downloadable copy just to make sure I vote with my wallet for equally thoughtful, if not depressing, games.
