God, read a textbook.

This is definitely going to make my head hurt to bring up, but…is it 2012 in the Fringeverse? Season 2 took place immediately after Season 1, Season 3 immediately after Season 2, etc. It could very well be early 2011 for all we know, but a throwaway reference to the year isn't something I'd remember so they could have

Agreed. When I saw Astrid and Walter on the subway, I thought "Yay, now we're really getting somewhere!" and then I looked at the clock, saw it said 9:55, and sighed a little.

Those of us who saw the set photos called it months ago.

Rank the Episode 19s thread!! Since it's likely, even if it gets renewed, we won't get another one.

I also found myself comparing this episode to the Epitaphs, and I think it paled a bit, honestly. But then, the Epitaphs are freakin' incredible so I don't blame them.

I really can't help but wonder what September's role has been in all of this. I'm honestly really surprised he didn't make an appearance at all.

I've been looking forward to this episode for a long time, and I was a little underwhelmed, honestly. But that might be because I was watching live, and I'm always underwhelmed when I watch things live, because it's not my usual method. Maybe it'll improve on a rewatch.

I'm pretty sure it meant that he considers humans "animals", yeah.

Correction: The Observers took over in 2609, not 2069.

All I really have to say is that Spike and Angel's giggle-fight in Smile Time is my favorite Angel moment, ever, by far.

I am so angry at you guys for making that the top pick when this will surely be the most bestest Fringe of the year. Ponies be damned!

Gotta disagree on Dollhouse. I notice Ballard isn't even mentioned in the article, which makes sense, because he's so fucking forgettable that he's pretty much automatically the worst character on the show. I rather like Echo, but she's definitely not the best.

I have no idea, but Revenge's FB page was all "Hey, check out this Okkervil River song from last night's episode". It was one I'd never heard before, but it was still pretty cool I guess.

Hey, this episode featured music from Okkervil River and the Dum Dum Girls. Niice.

I liked it all except for Victoria's storyline too, but I liked the rest enough to give it higher than a B-. I realized last night that my favorite thing about this show is watching a group of characters gathering in a room for a typical kind of scene, and counting how many different wildly varying motivations there

I only saw the last half of this. It was alright. I lol'd when Chloe said that she doesn't know why her mom is in a wheelchair because "I always felt she like wanted me to ask, so I didn't".

Also, I'm super-sad that Happy Endings ended already, because I was so looking forward to my 9:30-11:00 Happy Endings/Revenge time. It would be the best TV night of the week.

REEEEVVEEENNNGGGEEEE!!!! Sweet Revenge!! I've missed you.
