Stumpy would probably be my second-favorite performance. He's pretty great.

I've been catching up on this show this week. I tried in vain twice to get into it, but despite rather liking it, I couldn't get past the first four episodes before my mind wandered off and I didn't continue. But, since I paid money for the DVD sets (and because I saw you guys were reviewing it, which meant a nice

Oh, shut it you. It's the highest-rated episode since "Making Angels", and any increase at all is something worth celebrating, since this is when renewal/cancellation discussions are happening.

Buffy - absolutely not.
Angel's Season 4 was indeed the best, or at least the most entertaining.
Fringe's Season 4 is going quite well, I think. Not the *best*, but definitely not bad.

I agree, I would have liked to see them take more advantage of it. The rest of the season going forward seems to be heavy in alternate universe shenanigans, though, and I look forward to it.

But I still wonder what he wants with Olivia, then, and her Cortexiphan powers. Maybe he wants humans in his new world, but only humans elevated by Cortexiphan? Could we see a return of the Cortexikids?

I'm very excited about this, there's been a lot of hype surrounding this episode for quite a while. The description isn't that spoilery, even though it's definitely less vague than the usual press releases. If that's what they can say in the press release, imagine what kind of crazy shit they have planned for the

Last night's ratings were up 33% to a 1.2 at over 3mil. Looks like last week was just a blip after all.

RE: Jones' Ultimate Plan

I'm so happy I'm not the only one who noticed this.

I recognized her too, but I don't know from where. None of the usual sites have much of a guest-star list up yet, so it'll probably end up bugging me for a few days unless someone here knows.

Interesting theory - even though I kind of hope they're done with all the timeline stuff. If this is the case, though, maybe the rest of Season 4 will be exact repeats of cases of the week from Season 1. The finale could just be a re-airing of "There's More Than One of Everything"! I'd be on board.

Very nice parallel, I didn't even think of that.

Poor Olivia always has someone invading her mind. John Scott, William Bell, Fauxlivia, Prelivia. It's a wonder she can still function.

Lincoln needs to get some and quick. Poor guy indeed. Much as I love him, though, I'd also go for Peter.

Huh, alright. Thanks. Clearly my Fringe memory isn't what it should be.

What were the other old mutant monsters you saw? I don't remember any of them, dammit!

Here's the promo for next week, for anybody who's interested: http://www.youtube.com/watc… Remember the Earth-2 crew? They're back! In pog form.

And did anybody recognize any of the creatures on the ship at the end? Some people on IMDb were talking about them like we'd seen them all before as previous FOTWs. I didn't immediately recognize any of them though…anyone?

I liked this episode. Not as much as you, but I'd give it a B+. It was fairly light and entertaining, with more humor than usual, most of which landed.
