I just watched "Maple Street" for the first time. I liked it, but I think the only way I could give it a really, really high mark would be adjusting for the context of when it was aired. I have no problem appreciating it in that way, but personally, I didn't really love it as much as most others. I don't think it was

Walter and Belly were experimenting with cortexiphan and observing the alternate universe long before Peter got sick. If Peter was cured by Walternate, it's still likely that Walter would have made contact with the alternate universe using a CortexiKid like Olivia, who could then meet and mate with RedPeter. It makes

I don't know why but I've been hit with a sudden inspiration to watch The Twilight Zone. I know this is the wrong article to post on, but the Gateways to Geekery article on it really helped, and I'm starting soon. So thanks!

Something from IMDb, regarding how, exactly, Peter was supposed to have a baby with Blue Olivia by staying on the red side and being cured by Walternate:

Oops. Force of habit. I have no idea how I formed that habit, though, with all the breaks this show takes in a season.

You're not an alien, you're a time traveler from the future. That's how you knew.

I was incredibly impressed by her performance. Season 4 has proved, I think, why Blair Brown and Jasika Nicole have been kept on the regular roster despite usually having very little to do.

I just watched the promo for next week's episode (http://www.youtube.com/watc… and I could not be more excited about where this season is heading. Some key shots and lines from that promo have got me so…well, to steal a word from others in this comment section, giddy. March 23rd can't come fast enough.

@avclub-a79f8d92d5ec0c5f1434fca5ee0af8bf:disqus You mean the beacon? Ok, that's pretty awesome. I thought he meant the drill that whatshisface was using to torture Nina. I couldn't remember where I'd have seen that before…

I'm sorry, maybe I've lost my ability to think, but can someone explain what, exactly this means:

Fantastic episode, I thought. Serious answers given, and none of them disappointing, even though everything about The Observer's actions, and Henry, is going to take some thinking through before I completely get it…

Wait, what? Explain this! I don't remember!

It's Jared Harris. If Jared Hess was involved in this show, I'd stop watching it.

If something like that turns out to be the case, I hope it's a one-season-only deal, not a "Hey, we got a semi-popular show on our small cable channel, let's renew it a million times". I want a resolution, not an indefinite extension.

I've been watching that all week. I may be overhyping it, but damn does it look great.

Well, they haven't said that we're NOT getting a 15 episode Season 5, have they? I think a shortened Season 5 is a possibility. It would cut their budget (which is one of Fox's main gripes) in half, and even a little more if sacrifices were made. But maybe this is just wishful thinking, because I really want things to

Ok, I honestly could only read "a narcotics kingpin working in league with a terrorist to smuggle suicide bombers across the Mexican border into the U.S." in Peter Griffin's voice, because it sounds that much like a Family Guy parody of an "American Heroes" movie.

I didn't much care for whatever the hell that Max storyline was, but I enjoyed the rest of it a lot. Max is my favorite character so it was kind of a bummer having him out of commission for most of the episode, but the rest of the ensemble picks up the slack nicely. So many great moments, as always. Was the "so cute!"

I think one of the biggest hints from the beginning that the show is stupid and thinks its audience is stupid is the flashback thing you mention. I was thinking about that a lot before you even mentioned it in your review, and it really is terrible. When they flashed back to the teacher saying "I'll take care of it".

Ok, so I started catching up on RREEEVVVENNGGEEE!!! this week (I'm up to episode 9), and oh my god, if I didn't think this show was bad before (I did), do I ever now. I will still watch, for some reason, but comparing it to the far, far, far, FAR - did I mention far? - superior Revenge is killing it completely. Damn.
