Yeah, that Walter and Elizabeth conversation was one of my favorite scenes of the season so far.

Oof, this is the first time I've vocally disagreed with a grade, but I thought this was excellent and at least on part with Back to Where You've Never Been (aka an A-). Out of curiosity, Zack, what would you have given that episode, for context?
I think my problem with this show now is that I've become so frustrated with it as a whole, I can't appreciate the smaller things anymore. Good musical numbers are good, but not enough to save an episode. "Strong" dramatic moments fall completely flat for me (like Finn's reveal tonight), because I so hate everything…
Is it Gunslinger or The Gunfighter?
Interesting. I knew that it was somewhat acclaimed, I just assumed that the first 6 or 7 episodes were really good and then it was gone.
I seriously thought Southland got canceled after like 6 episodes. Did it not? Really? I swear I remember hearing about that.
"She's up to four or five different, distinct characters now, and her work is amazing."
It is absolutely worth it. Everything improves. It hasn't been regularly procedural since the beginning of Season 2 and the mythology is wonderful. If you found Anna Torv's performance wooden in Season 1, prepare to have your mind blown by Season 3. Trust.
Oh, I see. Rebecca can't let anything go. I know this because three separate people told her to let things go, and she didn't. Sweet character work, guys.
The shapeshifters were introduced in Season 2.
Peter is 33, so Elizabeth (right?) would have had to have him when she was 17ish, which is possible, but unlikely. If she had him at 20-22, which is a little more reasonable I guess, she'd just look amazing for 53-55 instead of amazing for 50. But anything more than that and it's getting into less realistic territory.
Altstrid definitely was.
@avclub-bc3e14e2ab565f7787d753233df681d1:disqus Astrid is getting what seems to be a story to herself in Episode 11! I won't say anything else, but I'd look up the press release for more info if you're an Astro fan (and who isn't?)
OK, I have a new theory about the shapeshifters, and it's kind of a stretch…by which I mean, it stretches all the way back to the Pilot and John Scott. The human shapeshifters are distinctive for being translucent, just like Scott was in the Pilot. They also have discs of data in their bodies, and as a reminder, this…
@intangible_fancy:disqus I'm just happy that Broyles is getting something to do. Same with Nina, even though she was still absent this week.
I liked the opening shot of this too. Peter walking from the orange into the blue. I hope that comes to pass.
"You die in all possible futures, Olivia."
I didn't think about that, but it makes sense with all the talk about infiltrating the government with shapeshifters.
"Didn’t notice anything new and strange about life on Earth-2, unless it’s supposed to be odd that their bus terminals have hot tea machines instead of hot coffee machines." I guess a little. On Earth-2, coffee is a rarity.
Once More With Feeling is the best episode of anything ever. Fact.
