For me that moment came when Alex asked Winn to scan for deep space transmissions (or something like that) to find Mon-El. Shouldn't that be something the DEO is *constantly* doing? Seems like a really easy way to find potential aliens.

Yeah that was truly, truly insane.
Yeah but isn't hijacking someone else's meeting proof that you aren't a good manager? I think the idea of him running the investigative journalism department makes sense, but maybe not the whole company. I mean not that James has any qualifications for that either. But Snapper doesn't seem like the kind of guy you…
More qualified in reporting skills definitely, but maybe not in managerial ones?
See I think the show is trying to argue that Carr is both a good journalist (re: his notes to Kara) and kind of a dick (re: taking over James' meeting). That strikes me as pretty realistic actually.
Just wait until WikiLeaks gets to the LCorp email account! So many cozy friendships with journalists…
I agree it's way too similar to the House of El, but I also wrote "Mondel" in my notes before I looked up his actual (fake) name from the comics so some people might not even pick up on it.
It's all streaming on Hulu right now BTWs. The first time it's ever been available for streaming!
Or at least put Clark and Kara in the same pod and another baby or two in Clark's pod.
It does seem like if you're building a pod to help your child escape the destruction of your home world you should just make it big enough for yourself too.
And somehow I feel like we have Ma and Pa Kent to thank for it all!
There is something interestingly gendered (on the show's part, not yours) about sending a 12-year-old girl to essentially be the mother of an infant but then not expecting a 22-year-old man to be the father of a 12-year-old girl.
I almost made "Is Clark coming to sister night?" the subheading for this review because Chyler Leigh's delivery cracked me up so much.
Jeremy Jordan was being kind of coy about it on Twitter, but who knows what that means. https://twitter.com/JeremyM…
I thought the moment in BvS where Clark catches Lois as she's falling off that building was one of the most romantic images I've ever seen. He swoops in super gently and he's just sort of instantaneously there. Other than that I've got nothing.
They've basically just turned him into Cisco from The Flash and I'm very much okay with that.
Maxwell Lord is that you?!?
When Clark was on the phone with Perry I was 100% picturing Laurence Fishburne on the other end. But Michael Rosenbaum is my mental Lex too. Odd.
Okay, but have you heard Winn sing? https://www.youtube.com/wat…
It's definitely possible. I was wondering why Lex would want to kill her in the first place given that she said they were really close as kids.
