I agree the message was a little muddled, but I think the ultimate point was "even if you are think you're being cautious with your gun, you can always be more cautious." The mom probably thought her son was too young to pay attention to where/how she stored her gun and just assumed he wouldn't be able to get into the

Good list! I wonder if maybe Weber will unexpectedly side with Callie since he was trying to warn Arizona off getting a lawyer? Unlikely but perhaps.

I'd be more forgiving of the lack of continuity if this season hadn't also included a detailed April/Jackson flashback episode that tracked all the way back to early season six. They even reference the shooting in that episode so it was clearly on the writers' minds.

I mean, I think the goal of trying to prevent little kids from dying in accidental shootings is, objectively, an admirable one. And the main point of this episode really was to discuss personal gun safety not legislative gun control.

But it wasn't like he just sent a photo of a slightly more attractive guy who kind of looked like him. He sent a photo of a man who was a different race/build/etc. It was a very creepy thing to do.

The fact that Riggs hasn't been paired with anyone yet is absurd. I'd be down for seeing him with Maggie. I like him a whole lot more than DeLuca, who always seemed far beneath Maggie's level.

I totally agree that Jessica and Trish were great and I wrote about that in my binge reviews, but I think 1.) the focus on their relationship comes fairly late into the season/isn't present in every episode and 2.) they are pretty much the only really important female relationship whereas Supergirl has several.

Thanks!

I totally agree the show really lost track of what it was doing with that Myriad mind control story.

You better believe it!

At least post one or two DEO guards there! That's a pretty big thing to just never check up on.

Pull a Wilson from Home Improvement and just have him always stand behind a fence.

And, like, killed a lot of them, right? Alex needs to think twice about that hand holding.

I feel like the show has forgotten the fact that Lord blackmailed someone into being a suicide bomber in exchange for his daughter's medical care. That's a pretty dark thing to come back from…

I'd be interested to track this across multiple shows! Jane and Supergirl are both very focused on the idea of family (Cat is presented as a mother figure as much as a boss) so it doesn't surprise me that so many female relationships are familial on those two particular shows.

That would have been 100x better than what they did.

I think the close-up of blind Non established he was still breathing, but we never saw him again so who knows.

Putting Lucy in the DEO was a surprisingly effective choice that made her character feel more purposeful *and* livened up the DEO at the same time. It makes much more sense than having her at CatCo. I'm hoping she sticks around too.

I'll second Ming-Na and in the same vein, I really love Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow.

That is this week's title. They aired too episodes and that was the name of the first. You can toggle between the two episode headers at the top of the review.
