I took Winn's explanation more as "If I don't tell you, I'm going to bottle up my frustrations and go insane." vs. "If you don't ACCEPT me, I'm going to go insane." While I agree the latter would be frighteningly manipulative, I don't find the confession itself (or even him setting up new boundaries in their

Thanks! I'll take them as soon as I can find my internet wallet.

My guess is that this episode/the love confession is going to be the start of the "moving on" portion of Winn's story. But who knows, really. This show is oddly unpredictable.

I was 50/50 on this being the "twist" at the end. Apparently even Supergirl isn't ready for that level of weirdness.

She's pretty one-dimensional (and oddly patronizing) in the early goings so I totally understand. Thankfully, she has blossomed into one of my favorite aspects of the show.

I guess if we're being *very* generous, maybe Lord had a mic strong enough to pick up their conversation and the camera was just a bonus for if she happened to place the purse in the right place?

It does feel like the show was originally positioning Alex/Kara at its heart (I believe the creators said as much), but has since switched to Cat/Kara. I like both relationships, but the switch is kind of jarring.

Thank you for pointing this out because that was insane. Was he using his powers to figure that out or could he just tell by the, I don't know, color?

I do think the boss gets way better after the first few episodes (around ep four?), but I'm not sure when you quit!

If somewhat thoughtful sci-fi rom coms are your jam, she's pretty good in Timer, which is streaming on Netflix. It's not a great movie by any means, but it was a good thing to put on when I couldn't decide what to watch.

Plus it was pretty lucky that she put her purse out in the middle of the room with the camera facing exactly where she was sitting.

This is very much what I'm hoping will happen down the line, but we shall see. (And to some extent Flash already did a "how to respond to rejection" arc that wasn't half bad.)

I hemmed and hawed for about 15 minutes over whether that review title was too weird so thank you for your vote of confidence!

Yes! The way her voice breaks on "smile" is so heartbreaking.

What an insanely catchy score. I would probably go with "So Much Better" or "Legally Blonde," even if the central message ("just let me be legally blonde") is total nonsense.

Up until the last minute I had "Comfort and Joy" as the Bat Boy pick but then I started second guessing whether it would make any sense at all out of context (it's SUCH a plot driven song). It's so damn catchy though.

I'll second all this omissions. We were limited to just 20 choices so we kind of just went with stuff we like rather than trying to be totally comprehensive. Would be curious to hear which song y'all would pick from these shows! For a while I was pulling for "96,000" but then was worried it was too hard to understand

I went back and forth on Legally Blonde forever (I adore it) but couldn't decide which song was best for radio. What would you pick?

Ooh yes! Bummed I didn't remember this one as we were putting together the list. I would listen to Kerry Butler belt just about anything.
