To be fair this show isn't nearly as good as it used to be. I think ratings here should be more consistent though. Some people grade shows agains itself, others against an accepted standard, and others on a curve. 30 Rock being a C graded show while, say, The Walking Dead is an A-B graded show is infuriating.

I disagree that the prayer was out of place. It was very touching and sobering to see all of these music industry people all in silence, bowing their heads and praying in memory of a fallen peer.

I think this is just one of those shows that will be cool to hate.  Kind of like the insane, irrational LOST hate that some people had.  Hopefully the hate for this show doesn't get as passionate though.
