Little from column A, little from column B.

Mitch and Cam were definitely the weak point, but the other two segments were surprisingly poignant. They actually made Gloria and Phil seem like real people this episode, instead of just being Jay's hot younger wife who kinda  talks funny and the goofy dad who frequently sticks his foot in his mouth respectively. Too

I think this has been my problem with this season too, it's just way darker than I remember. Not just the "rape" stuff in this episode, but it also seems like Tom has done some legitimately terrifying things (breaking into Jules' house while she sleeps and all that) and I feel like Laurie's past has been more comical

I actually think she looks better post-baby. I wouldn't say she was too skinny up above in the Wonder Woman sketch, but she was leaning that direction. Also mangos. Mhmm, fruit.

How hilariously terrible was that moment? When Hodgins looked like he might actually consider letting Afghan schoolgirls die just so he could stay rich? Even though he's got multiple Ph.Ds, a super hot wife (who also would have stellar job prospects) and would be just fine without his family fortune?! When he gave the

I don't think anyone should trust Lena Dunham. Or Louie C.K. Or anyone else that makes TV. I think they should just watch the stuff they make and, if they want to, try to understand the creative decisions behind it independent of knowing anything about the actual creator. That's why I mostly roll my eyes at all this

@ToddVanDerWerff "So maybe some more nuance sometime or use specific examples or don't be so flip about something that can make so many people feel shitty."

This episode has Cassidy Freeman in it, so it gets an automatic "A" from me. Man, I just get lost in those eyes….

Yeah, there was so much going on in the main storyline what with Reese getting imprisoned and then kidnapped that I honestly couldn't recall if this had been a major plot point. I blame it on TV fatigue since, like, everything I watch has been getting new episodes these last couple of weeks.

I'm really intrigued by the possibilities re: Rachel. Seems like there are three possibilities, assuming Meghan Markle stays with the cast:

Beiber was actually pretty good, though he appeared way more than I expected him to. The bodyguard sketch was probably the high point for me, and as with most episodes, the momentum was kind of lost after Weekend Update. But unlike most other episodes, only one sketch lasted way past its expiration date, and the

Guaranteed to get ratings as high as 25!

I really enjoyed that, though it was considerably less awesome than the past couple of weeks, but that's to be expected given that those episodes were focused on the serialized story. I started off eye rolling at Logan Pierce, but they subverted a lot of my expectations by having him figure out what Reese and Finch

Jessica and Robert Zane have some great scenes together- loved Jessica's burn about how Robert had something to offer both the defensive and offensive lines of football because he asserted one consists of fat white guys  and the other of black guys.

@UWR:disqus  Who else would have shared the calzones with the FCC? (Shh, you saw no typo).

Either that or everyone at the FCC had food poisoning.

To be fair, the show throws some hints at Native American mysticism being the source of a lot of the mystical hotbeds.

Wow, really? I absolutely loved this episode. I admit, part of that may be sort of tuning out Elena at this point, but I didn't think she was acting out of character or like her actions were being tainted by the sire bond (honestly I don't think the sire bond is as big a deal as people are making it out to be). Her

Yeah, I liked the development, but it just seems really fast. Dean is always so cynical and skeptical about stuff that I figure he would need more time to warm up to the idea of Sam delving so deeply into the Men of Letters society. But I do understand the show has to balance a lot of plots so I guess they had to
