RE: the guest stars- there were also at least 2 contestants from America's Next Top Model who won an acting challenge and got cameos on Veronica Mars. One, I believe was the teacher on the bus from Season 2.

I presume Henry Winkler's character is based on Ezra Jack Keats, which is so weird, since I just picked up a couple of his books from the library to read to my son. A Snowy Day is truly fantastic.
