Count me in the anti-Sam Kinison camp.  He screams a lot.  That was his act.

Of course no one is reading this now, because AV Club has selfishly stopped recapping Jersey Shore, but like a message in a bottle, I feel the need to post….

I think this has been a cleansing day for both of us.

So can I just say right here and now - because it's been bothering me for years - I never understood what Mrs. Forsyte saw in that other guy.  She should have stuck with Soames, who worshipped the ground she walked on.  Low class tramp!

Sir, have you never seen Terms of Endearment?

I was booing at home when Dana Wynter came up.  Bitch.

That's very cute, what you said, but other than Jessica Lange, who the heck are you making this big case about?

Mork and Louis

Some people watch it when the DVDs come out.  Dummy.

Was I the only one hoping that after picking up each kid on stage, he would just continue with the entire cast, picking each one up one by one, until the music came in to play him off?

I'm tempted to say "enough with Betty White!" but I have to admit, I've never watched that Cleveland show…..nor do I plan to.  So maybe she's awesome on it, who knows?

I like the In Memoriam section of the SAGs.  On the other awards shows, they just fly through them, but on the SAGS they spend a little more time and you get to see a bit of dialogue from the actors. Not that this is saying much; it's still way too short!

"At its best, WWHL feels like a grown-up pajama party at a fabulous-yet-cozy Montauk beach house.

Ugh.  Must we?

It's me!  Will you be beating me up at recess now?

Indeed!  And I think it helps when the setting of the show has a world of it's own that you get sucked into while watching it all at once.  Lost, Mad Men, True Blood - these are all shows from a different time or place, or even something that couldn't exist in reality.  You spend 6 hours there and it's hard to get out.

It's a painful adjustment to go from watching 4 episodes at a time to week to week.  I watched the first 3 seasons of Lost all at once, and then had to deal with the agonizing withdrawal of going week to week.  It hurts even thinking about it now.

Good to know - I'm only on season 2!
