I think they've been held back because they mainly grow up in isolation and are scared of being found out. There's no "shifter community" for support. But Luna coming out on TV should change that next season.

I know, right?? At least Cyrus has the excuse of not being formally trained. It actually pisses me off that Chehon failed so much at hip hop, because a ballet dancer should be able to do any kind of isolation. It's like he didn't try to understand the genre.
