@Renaton It's not the "don't have many lyrics" aspect that I don't like.
I predict Ginsburg and Abe fighting over Peggy, witty Jew style.
Really? Any other black female rappers you care to lump into that comparison? Missy Elliot is a fucking bad-ass who Nicki Minaj could never touch.
It's terrible because it's just that one line, over and over. Just like Umbrella.
I don't agree that Raj "correctly and repeatedly argues that that characterizing cooking, loving Bridget Jones, etc., is as gay is wrong and offensive." He never does. Either he fails to understand the hints that he's closeted (because he's foreign! Ha, ha!) or he simply protests that he's not gay. I wish to God…
Seriously. I actually wish they'd take it far enough for him to go off on his friends and family for constantly assuming he's closeted. The farther they go with this storyline, the more I assume all the writers are homophobic dicks.
Fucking word.
Maybe you did that because you're secretly gay, like Raj.
I feel that way about Community, too… and then I watched the last two eps, anyway, and neither made me laugh aloud, not even once.
I was going to make fun of you by saying that I understood because I feel the same way about midgets but would never be stupid enough to say so aloud.
What's made the show so bad, up until last episode, is that the only characters in the group with any determination were Rick and Shane, and they spent most of that determination on petty squabbles and trying to hook up with Lori. And everyone else in the group, inexplicably, followed them around passively. No one…
You think Charlie Sheen is handsome?
I'm like, "Restyle Lori's bangs! Then kill her!!!!"
I wish Phi Phi would go to therapy for her rage issues.
Can we get a Hispanic people count here? I mean, I know there's a lot of white people on AV Club, of course, but the fact that this thread is filled with:
1) white people saying random things they remember from 6th grade Spanish,
2) white people saying this movie is offensive to Hispanics, and
3) dudes using their…
I saw a lot of marketing for it, and I'm one of those people who generally doesn't recognize most of the titles at the box office. But thinking back, I can't tell you if I saw the trailers/ads on local TV (making it a Texas thing) or on Hispanic-aimed things (making it a Hispanic thing). Interesting.
I think it's aimed at women who buy razors for their husbands. "Maybe if I buy my husband that razor, he'll become smoking hot, too."
1) Some Community fans harass BBT fans on a regular basis.
"For the most part, the show's fans stick to its own corner of the site."
