Oh come on! This was a great episode.
Oh come on! This was a great episode.
bkboiler, your BMI is 17 o.O I don't know if you have a really slender build or something, but that is a bit low, bro.
I really liked this episode. Some of Abed's dialogue was clunky and a bit desperate though.
I just couldn't get into this week's episode. Maybe it's because I'm running on caffeine and only the essentials seem essential, but it just felt… predictable. Alicia's going to consider another offer because she wants more money… it was just a predictable extension of what was set up last week. Will toes the line.…
I think he's really starting to get worried about Peter though. If he gets stuck with the reputation as henchman to the corrupt DA, he could be finished. He's got better prospects at Lockhart Gardner.
I'm impressed by the portrayal of Sweeny the psychopath. The cold eyes and the superficial wit and charm, the clear lack of empathy, and the power games. It's not fetishized pyschopathy like in Sherlock, where he's supposed to be a "high functioning sociopath" except he's "on the side of the angels", only solves…
This is one of those awkward things about the show. I think they're the kind of people who would have a lot of cosmetic surgery though. Jules and Ellie especially. It's alright though. If they're the sort of people that basically live in luxury, wear nice clothes and make jokes, then cosmetic surgery is… not so bad.
I think Diane's behavior isn't odd because it's Diane. Would Will be so kind to her? No way.
o.O really?
I like that Alicia was graceful about the judge basically ignoring her, and that didn't seem to make sense with that moment of awkwardness. If she could take being the older, less attractive woman on the chin and bounce back for the case, why would she be resentful here? (Not that she actually is… Julianna Marguiles…
That's basically what Cam is. That horrible stereotype of an upper class woman, aging and unhappy it about, and possibly going through some stress about whether or not she's pretty. He can be an upstanding father sometimes, but a lot of the time he's just Mitchell's hysterical wife.
I thought Luke said "it smells like puke and vomit got married".
America apparently doesn't care that they invaded the country of Iraq, bombarded its people and, (because they only care when it's about them) put themselves severely in debt doing it.
Did you guys give up on reviewing House? Yesterday it was revealed that he's the daughter in Mamma Mia. It's fitting that you gave up that day.
I thought the Chinese restaurant thing was a bit awkward but then… in Hong Kong. that scene is all kinds of true, you can do whatever the fuck you like as long as you don't get up in their personal space, old Chinese men will not give a fuck.
I don't even know who that is but that song… "RAAAAY DAWN CHONG, CAN YOU HEAAAAR MY SONG…"
I'm a sucker for Hugh Laurie, and he had his "HOUSE IS INTERESTED" face a few times today, as well as a few moments of Bertie Wooster (notably in the "and that's really relevant right now" bit at Taub).
"You're giving up the law for six months?" annoyed the hell out of me. it just reduced the characters to actors. Also, it's not crack. You can be involved with it through research, writing, reading, campaigning.
I think it was Park being scared of being stabbed? In the sense that if a patient flips out, they break out of the role she expects them to play, so suddenly she's worried about patient interactions in a way that she wasn't before. I think that's why they exaggerated it, with her being scared of a very overweight guy…
I thought it was great. Jesse carried the episode with a quiet dignity, like House at his best (before the childish vulgarity got overwhelming). There was a quiet maturity in the way things were handled.
