Pardon?
The idea of having alternate universes or whatever was fun. But the way it was written was just not that funny. The stupid Pierce line that wasn't funny the first time, the desire to have Shirley saying she's going to bake four times, the repetitions about Britta which only confirmed the fact that she was smoking pot.…
Please punch yourself hard between the legs.
Well, fair enough if you don't like it. What do you like? I'm guessing Blackadder, Vicar of Dibley, Fawlty Towers and Only Fools and Horses are similarly bad in your view. To be honest, I'm honestly surprised. But enjoy your crappy comedies!
No, not Coupling the US version, you ninny. The UK version, which is very well and tightly written. Look at the other globe, not the globe of America. Twat.
Maybe I'm just missing something. I thought they added little with the repetitions. I just didn't find it clever or funny, I felt like the character dynamics had been done to death and just making an exaggerated version of it with post-modern commentary by Abed's caricature of Abed was just average. The "dark" humour…
I'm just not getting it. I really like the show, but I just think the humour this episode is a little obvious, even if it's non-traditional and internet humour. There's no substance, just gimmick after gimmick, and the main gimmick with the dice was funny once, maybe twice, but then they got hysterical and then there…
There were a lot of gimmicks, but they weren't well executed.
Well, I don't watch the IT Crowd…
… Seriously? You don't think Coupling UK is a well written series? Then go watch the MAGNIFICENTLY terrible US series.
The Police are Jamaican?
Coupling UK did a much better episode with a similar concept. It's called 9 1/2 minutes, it's amaaaaazing. Funny and written so tightly.
with all due respect to eric stone street and jesse something, maybe they just… look slightly off putting when they make out?
Lois was amazingly lovable. I don't know how. Maybe because the kids (except for the second littlest) were such shits. That was a great show, really brilliant dynamics.
Prison rape jokes are horrible. I used to think they were funny in a distant way, it's just one of those casual throwaway lines, but there are terrifying realities there, including the case of a young guy who was imprisoned for misdemeanor arson who was repeatedly raped in prison, the doctors and prison officials…
Lisa Edelstein's character was too stupid to be a lawyer, and her overacting screwed up and already flawed script.
No. Don't want the old team back, don't want stupid games, I like his nervous breakdown version of Velma (who also reacts violently to sexual harassment, maybe this show is learning…). New characters! With House acting less stupid!
Yeah, that's why I didn't get annoyed about it being Foreman. They have a dynamic when it's written properly. Sure it makes no sense for him to be dean of anything (… House going from prison to consulting with a security bracelet on his ankle makes no sense etc.) but they're writing Foreman a lot better.
Foreman who… is nice to House, knows he's an asset, takes a risk on him? Yeah, Foreman's a pompous ass, but he's neither money grubbing or evil. He just has a thing for power.
