First responders have suffered enough!
I don't understand this kind of pointless, panty twisted nonsense.
Julian Clary's stage act is possibly the campest thing that ever was and is and every could be, but he's more sexual than these two. At least his camp comedy extends to lines like "… I think I recognize those sperm!"
Phil got a peck on the lips for his tightrope walk. Cam and Mitchell jump into the sea in diet-related hysteria, dramatic as several musical theatre showstoppers combined, and yet they hug.
Something like "I think Mitchell is just a work friend."
Twas good. Really could've done without the Mitchell and Cam hysteria subplot, even if that meant missing a bit more of Prior Walter.
I found that Burt line really awkward. "You're not Rock Hudson gay, you're gay gay," or something to that effect. That was a low moment.
… If you knew Blaine in real life?
Great review :)
This reviewer summarized the case, which was explicitly showed on the show was Alicia defending a Palestinian student who was accused because of his race, as
The attack on the pro-Israel lobby was slick. Including the mention of the settlements. Hello, new show.
Abed and Troy living together is a copout. Makeoutmakeoutmakeout.
He's insecure, but it's on the basis of "butch" things. Playing catch, catching bottles (the fact that he slipped off the log was one of the jokes), basically that he wasn't manly enough to raise a boy. That was the dilemma.
That's the point though: homosexuality is expressed solely through flamboyance. Jay worries that Manny got the locket to wear. Why? Because Manny might be gay too.
When you're replying to a comment by me, it's okay to address it to me (unless that would piss off the voices?).
To be fair, that's less about the actress than the lines she gets. Her performance is strong and her comic timing is good…
I know there are gay people like that, but they're not that flamboyant all the time. Not everything is a gay joke in their lives. Lee on Desperate Housewives is a stronger character.
Ah. So you'd sit there and make yourself feel superior than actually say what you don't agree with… while calling me the catty one. Well, good to clear that up, Corleone.
… Ouch? Is there a point in there somewhere?
The hysteria, the catty comments and the gestures borrowed from Golden Era Hollywood female leads… IDK, looks like the formula for all four of those men. It is a bit homophobic… they're four of the major gay characters on prime time, and they're all very similar and very not-sexual.
