much more cleverer,
I think you just might be on to something.

Yeah, I don't know if any of the regulars will have the balls for it or not. It kinda seems like its going to be hanging over the evening, so it may as well be addressed.

No, it actually wasn't. To thank you for letting me know about it, I won't even be snarky and run this link through "Let me Google that for you"

Greg, it's just a shame they aren't posthumously roasting you, good sir. You were the best at that shit and should have lived to receive the honor.

That just made me spit out my beer. You may owe me a new keyboard. Hadn't thought of that sketch in years.

GOT THEM REEEEED TOPS!

If you like TAB…
and their energetic live shows, you should really check out Holy Ghost Tent Revival. They are from Greensboro, and comparisons are often made with TAB. I think once you get in to them, it becomes apparent they really have their own thing going, but check them out live and see for yourselves. Truly a

Lovecraft,
If that's the case, then I would recommend checking out a TAB show as soon as possible. The smaller the venue the better, obviously.

Miller, I think you're confusing "emotional" for "emo". They connect with their fans on a level that's hard to describe.

Felt Pelt,
Then there was Backdraft 2: Backdraftier (a real short film starring Eugene Mirman and Jon Benjamin)

Yeah, because jokes about how Mexican food is basically the same few ingredients re-arranged are TOTALLY originated by The Onion.

Rockbusters was just fantastic, but I think it was only so because of what a horrible idea. Same goes for "Songs of Phrase", which was goddamn hilarious, but mostly only because Ricky and Steve were so horrified to see what he came up with each week.

Fuck this shit
Bring on the Dexter write-up! Also, it looks like Batman: The Animated Series has been at least temporarily removed from the TVC lineup. Damn you, Pierce!

Is this really the finale?
This season felt short.

Gotta disagree
About the Tracee character being flimsy. I've watched through this series 2 or 3 times, and had once again managed to forget her character arc is contained solely within this episode. I think it's a testament to the character (and the actress) that with a little distance from the series, she feels very

Plastic Beach
Is criminally under-represented on this list. I feel like a lot of the great albums from the earlier part of the year were dwarfed by more recent big splashes like Kanye, etc. Also agree with some earlier posts that there's way too much over-exposed indie rock on these lists. Let Pitchfork handle that

Sycophants,
That was my 14th Avett show. Absolutely amazing, it was. I was up in the pit (pricey, but worth it) and it felt like our own little private show in that huge ass amphitheater.

staircar,
I dont think youre remembering that right. I saw them on that tour, and they were actually playing the song (Bomb Shelter, Pt. 2) live while Calvin Johnson's voiceover played and a video played on an endless loop. It may still be pretty simplistic, but I for one thought it was cool as hell to see BTS doing an

The Catholic church has a far darker history than the Nazi's and they've been at it much longer. Doug Stanhope speaks on the subject at great length.
