This has some tasty tunes but also it has some tracks that sound like they're trying to be the next Everclear or Offspring or whatever. Classic great barely produced first record and solid if not too overproduced second record situation right here boys alright thanks for letting me comment AV Club bye!

Love all the Hollywood Handbook chatter. The Klausner ep was one for the books I think so!

Oslo August 31st is top 5 movie of the last 15 years. So there's that!

Baumbach is a whiz kid and Gerwig is a star and Baumbach's movies are all fantastic little marvels except Margot at the Wedding which I saw but then immediately forgot that I saw and now, based upon how little I remember of it, I'm not too sure I actually ever saw it but anyways Baumbach and Gerwig are cool and great

This movie isn't as funny as it should be but is still watchable or something and Bridey Elliot is a revelation or whatever word movie critics use to describe a youngish actress who is really good in the part she's playing okay end of post thanks!

Happy Gilmore.

Don't get the concept songs not being necessary. If you listen to this in one sitting and just focus and enjoy the music/scope/ideas, then everything is absolutely essential. If you're shuffling around on yr ole iPod nano there or whatever, just delete the concept tracks. This mammoth of a record works as a collection

This a wonderful record by a wonderful band with wonderful songs and a lead singer with a wonderful twitter and that was this post thanks!

This is a good feature and article and a good sketch and sketch comedy is cool and good now and also thank you AV Club for your entertaining articles and things like that.

What's this one about?

I WAS JUST TALKING ABOUT PLAYMAKERS YESTERDAY!

Cameron Esposito is a not good comedian. Her rise to semi-notoriety is suspect and disconcerting. Oh well I guess.

HEY THIS IS A GREAT RECORD! seriously tho it's being unfairly slept upon.

I wouldn't necessarily call Laura Marling lady "rock." Also already mentioned Barnett ("CB"). Yes she gets initials now.

Girlpool, Speedy Ortiz, Chastity Belt — I can do this all day, big dog.

ASAP Rocky's new one is probably my favorite — just from a production aspect it's unreal. If you like great beats tickling your ears and rattling your car, get that mother. Plus Kendrick, obviously. Young Thug, Rae Sremmurd, Chance the Rapper and Action Bronson have all brought the goods, too. Now throw in Staples —

This guy is great. Rap this year is great. The only thing having a greater year than rap is lady rock (Sleater Kinney, Bully, CB, Screaming Females, Hop Along). Lady rock is great. Cool thanks.

This is one of the best if not the best stand up show in LA. Anytime someone comes into town and they want to get stand-up laffs, I direct them the Meltdown's way. They're phenomenal at booking it and they get a ton of drop ins from top tier comedian bros and comedian gals. But if you go live, which I have a bunch, be

Overlooked Gems of Recent Memory:
Sleater-Kinney doing "Jumpers"
St. Vincent "Marrow"
LCD Soundsystem and the band clapping along to "Daft Punk is Playing at My House"
Arcade Fire's "Rebellion (Lies)"

Coogan is GOAT and deserves better than this.
